Garb – an AI-powered virtual closet startup – needed a unique and eyecatching visual identity to display its features and overall brand. With the idea of inclusivity to a wide audience and the love of clothes in mind, the brand formed around a simple color palette with funky typography and a character reminiscent of “Clippy” to give the artificial intelligence a visual indicator.

The website prototype consists of a single page with anchor tags to access primary information about Garb as a startup company. By implementing the visual identity within this informational “pre-site”, potential users can get an idea of what the company’s values and mission are before signing up.

Garb is meant to be inclusive of all age groups and to promote the idea of loving and wearing the clothes you already have. Giving the artificial intelligence a “face” of sorts can help older generations understand what the AI is, and draws in younger audiences with a fun cartoonish character.
